Legal Form and Sponsorship

The Institut has its headquarters at Lassalle-Haus, Bad Schönbrunn and is organized as a non-profit association to which tax-deductible contributions may be made. Together, the Swiss Jesuits and the Katharina-Werk sponsor the Lassalle-Institut. The President of the Executive Committee is Dr. Carol Franklin Engler.

The Lassalle-Institut is active as an NGO at the United Nations (UN). It has special consultative status in relationship to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and is affiliated with the Department of Public Information (DPI).
